Since 2007, the Chicago Mar Thoma Church has hosted a Men's Summer Basketball League as a means to bring the community together in sport and fellowship, and it has been a huge blessing year in and year out. So this year, we have decided to expand the ministry and create a league for the girls, and it was determined for maximum entertainment and competition that the sport would be sand volleyball.
The 2009 Girls Summer League Staff is led by Sibyl Abraham, Jessie John, and Sijin Mathew. Any questions, concerns or comments can be directed towards them or to (cmtcyouths@gmail.com).
Youth Fellowship:
The CMTC Youth Fellowship started in the early 90’s, an organization within the Chicago Mar Thoma Church for the 2nd generation that was growing up. Over the years, it has grown vastly, both in size and events, holding weekly meetings, retreats, praise nights, and conferences.
