Chicago Mar Thoma Church Youth Fellowship Summer League

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I can't attend everyday of the league / I'll be late for some days; can I still register?

Whether you will be at every game, or can only make it to the first 2 days, we will not turn down anyone from playing. Keep in mind that there are no discounted rates (registration is still $15, with checks made payable to "Chicago Mar Thoma Church" with "Girls Summer League" in the memo). But if you want to play, we want you there.

Where do I send the registration fee?

Checks for the 2009 Girls Summer League should be made it out to the "Chicago Mar Thoma Church" with "Girls Summer League" written in the memo. All payments should be given to Sibyl Abraham, and can be mailed to 184 W. King Lane, Des Plaines, IL 60016

What are you doing with my money?!

The profits from this year's summer league will be used to cover the expenses for this year's league, lower costs for the youth fellowships winter regional conference, as well as make a donation towards the Binil Samuel Memorial Fund.

Are there ANY exceptions for guys to play?

NOPE! You've got your bball, and we've got our vball.

What do I need to bring for the league?

On arrival you must have your signed liability form, which will ultimately make you eligible to play. Outside of that, just have clothes to play in- remember, we're playing sand volleyball, so you'll probably want to go barefoot too.

What can't I bring to the league?

We request there be no alcohol, smoking, or other illegal substances brought to the premises. Any players/visitors caught with these items will be asked to leave by the SL Staff.

Who's the ref for my games?

We've got help from many of the guys who have competitive knowledge of the game of volleyball. It's not going to be called like the olympics, but they'll make sure that all games are played fair.

Where's that liability form?

Once you signed up there was a link to download it. What's that, you say? You never downloaded it? Well because we're nice people, here's the link again: Liability Form
